Internet is not an aim for the rural tourism, but a powerful tool for commercial objectives Oscar Ore, manager of ZippySolutions, participated in the I Regional Congress of Rural Tourism, that took place in Almazán, Soria, days 25, 26 and 27 of the past month of April. Its intervention, “New Technologies�, constituted one of the three strongpoints of the day of Thursday, marked by the specialization.

In her, the people in charge of the work factories treated the rural tourism from three points of view: emergent products and complementary activities (in charge of Miguel Angel Vidal, president of Atacyl), new technologies (of Oscar Ore), and promotion and communication (of Javier Perez Andres, journalist).

The conclusions, after the debate that followed the factories, were unanimous in their common denominator: it is necessary to vary the industralist concept who exists in Castile and Leon and to arrive at one more a more proactive attitude, characterized by the continuous work.

In the scope of the rural tourism, it is translated in a clear affirmation: “The rural tourism no longer is the news. It is amassed and it is necessary to look for formulas different from commercialization. In it they play an important role the TIC, that they are not an aim in themselves, but means. The presence in the Network is an instrument with which to work, not a goal that, once obtained, allows the industralist to sit down to hope�, explains Oscar Ore.

Thus, concepts as specialization and differentiation have to mark the activity. In Castile and Leon it is necessary to surpass the idea “to sell lodging� to begin “to sell destinies�.
