New technologies, the key that abre the door to the competitiveness of the independent businesses
Seven of each ten workers independently use the computer in their daily work
The independent ones have decidedly bet to incorporate the technologies of the information and the communication (TIC) to their daily work, as it on the matter states the last report of Fundetec. According to their results, the 68.1 percent of the members of this group uses as the computer as work tool and the 60.4 percent has connection to Internet. These numbers improve in a 13.3 and a 19 percent, respectively, the obtained ones in the previous study, dated in 2006.
The common denominator of the connection to the Network comes marked by the search from information, argument used by the 97.8 percent of the survey ones. Nevertheless, this one is not its unique use. In this sense, the accomplishment of banking managements (77.5 percent) or the communication with clients and suppliers (71,3), as well as the electronic interaction with the Administration gain whole numbers (42,8).
Data than more positive for the electronic mail, used by practices totality of the independent ones that is connected to the virtual surroundings. They are conscious that, thanks to its immediacy and direct communication, it contributes to accelerate business processes as the management of purchases or the relation with its objective public.
The report also reserves a section to the computer science programs, where evidence that those of office automation stay like the most implanted, with a percentage superior to the 98 percent. They follow them, every time to less distance, those of management of invoicing and accounting (49,8) and the data bases (47,2). But, perhaps, the most outstanding note is than more than half of the users has specific systems to its company.
