School 2,0, new project for the modernization of the educative system

The Spanish educative system, in its eagerness to modernize itself, says goodbye to its traditional methods to take step to the inevitable technological revolution of the hand of an ambitious project that already has been baptized like School 2.0.

The Government has announced who the next course, 2009/2010, each one of the 420,000 students of 5º of primary of the centers arranged public and will have a portable one with whom to follow the development of the classes or to make the duties in its houses. Also, in its return to cole they will release classes with digital slate and wireless connection to Internet. In successive years, this initiative will extend of progressive form until covering all the secondary one.

Some suppliers already have indicated that the process will be long, if more considers that will be to summon a public contest, and that will be complicated that a single awardee can do in front of all the order of hardware and software. It seems that, therefore, it will be necessary to resort to several manufacturers, decision that will suppose important revulsive an economic one for the technological industry.

Nevertheless, which more anxious is than the project can remain in a mere allowance of equipment; that is to say, that is not accompanied by other measures that contribute to, of course, extend the culture of the society of the information in the students and in the parents and professors.

Sources of the Executive have assured that, at least, special emphasis in forming to the educational personnel in the adapted handling of the equipment will become, so that it can remove the divided major to the new tools and, consequently, to teach better and with more quality to the students.
