The deep Web, a challenge for the finders

Documents that the finders are not able to index and data bases constitute the main elements of the denominated deep Web or invisible Web, that is to say, all those contents of the World Wide Web to which the navigators, at least through common searches, do not have access.

This circumstance is effect of the technology that uses the motors search to realize their work and of the different policies from indexing of the companies that give support them. A clear example of invisible contents is the one of all those that are, for example, in a page Web to which it is necessary to accede previous registry (usuary and password).

Intranets of companies, labeled images (whether it is a question of graphical elements as such or texts designed with certain formats) or the data bases of the National Climatic Data Center and the NASA is not three examples of it.

That is to say, along with contents that their creators wish that they remain hidden safe for people with certain privileges of access, many do that it by technical questions, not of intentionality on the part of their manufacturers exist other.

The result is a World Wide Web (without counting on other services of Internet, like the electronic mail) in which the invisible part is several hundreds of times greater than the superficial one. In this land some finders work at present, that try to improve the access to those documents.
